SLAGMAUR and Voices join Brutal Assault!
The origin of the Norwegian avant-garde black metal band SLAGMAUR dates back to 1997. Slagmaur's music is like a soundtrack to hell with industrial rhythms, creating a depressing atmosphere of horror fuelled with mechanic and manic riffs. From the more prolonged demonic pace of the music are bursting twisted melodies and a schizoid madness underlined by their bizarre horror stage presentation. It's become quite hard to shock in black metal today, but that's not Slagmaur's case!

The second band are London's VOICES, formed by ex-members of Ackercocke following their break-up in 2011. Despite clear musical parallels with Akercocke's avant-garde tunes, VOICES managed to create a unique identity of their own. The progressive and unconventional mix of black and death metal exposes its listeners to extreme, dissonant, and evocative horizons. Voices' music is heavily influenced by movies and, despite its extremity, brings about a challenging experience.

Here we go with two more names on the bill!
There is no need to introduce the Norwegian prog pioneers Leprous, who have been championing the genre with unrelenting activity over the last decade. Brutal Assault has already seen this great live band in the flesh and their brilliant new album „Pitfalls“ is a good reason not to let them slip by. These amazing Norwegians are a truly peculiar live act that you simply can't mistake or substitute.
Many doom bands nowadays consist of so many members that it's hard to keep track of them all. But there are also those who can bring out gut-wrenching ballads in two. And that is the case with sludgy funeral-ish doom masters Bell Witch. The last, one-piece and 83 minutes long album „Mirror Reaper“ attests to that and whatever is the band gonna bring out. However for this BA, the band brings something even more special - a collaboration-set with the acoustic project Aerial Ruin!
