ED SHEERAN: ALL OF ED SHEERAN'S OPENERS DROP OFF TOUR IN SOLIDARITY WITH MACKLEMORE

 

All of ED SHEERAN's openers  have dropped off the tour in solidarity with  MACKLEMORE..

 

 . However, in the metal scene,you will be hearing from ED SHEERAN as he is due for a collaboration with British, gothic, black metal warriors CRADLE OF FILTH. 

 

After a pretty tame pro Palestinian speech at New Jersey's MET LIFE STADIUM, New England Patriots owner ROBERT KRAFT banned MACKLEMORE from GILLETTE STADIUM (BOSTON) and organized a boycott of other U.S.A.  stadiums..ED SHEERAN was forced to kick  MACKLEMORE off the bill. 

 

ITP V.026 EDITORS NOTE: Sounds like censorship to me. I saw the video for  MACKLEMORE's speech in New Jersey, nothing anti Semitic was said. 

 wow. I don't even listen to hip hop and barely know this artist. He didn't say anything anti Semitic. Unfortunately, post holocaust, Israel has done to Palestinians what the Nazis did to the Jews. It's possible to support Jewish safety and the Palestinian people without supporting terrorism.

I'm disappointed in the leadership in Israel and Palestine. Apartheid needs to end and Israel and Palestine must learn to live together in peace.

Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, friend of Donald Trump, and proud mega-donor to AIPAC, just showed us once again how raw oligarchical power can crush any pretense that our speech is protected by the First Amendment.

Bob Kraft is the person primarily responsible, as he readily admits, for compelling international music superstar Ed Sheeran to drop his opening act, hip-hop artist Macklemore, from his stadium tour. Macklemore’s crime was saying two simple words at a previous tour stop to rapturous cheers: “Free Palestine.” Kraft proceeded to tell Sheeran that if Macklemore stayed on the bill, his sold-out show at Gillette stadium—where the Patriots play and which Kraft owns (and for which he received millions in public money)—would be canceled.

When pop musician Pink wrote on her Instagram that Macklemore’s invocation of “Free Palestine” made her feel “scared ” as a Jewish person, Kraft stepped in and rallied other stadium owning billionaires to make the same threat.
