INFERNO FESTIVAL 2012 SWITZERLAND: March 9-10th. 2012 Lausanne Switzerland CONFIRMS 1349, ENSLAVED, WATAIN and more.

Promoters for the 2012 INFERNO FESTIVAL, set to take place 3/9-12, 2011 Lausanne Switzerland have announced the first confirmed bands.

In February 2011, we organized the famous INFERNO METAL FESTIVAL for the first time in Switzerland! An amazing line up with Enslaved, Watain, Shining, Rotting Christ, Negură Bunget, Rorcal, The Secret, Nebra, Aosoth and a Worldwide Premiere Exhibition « Antecedent Death - The Aesthetics Of Mortality" - A Death Mask Project By Tom Gabriel Warrior (Celtic Frost, Triptykon)

A great success ! 1500 people from all over Europe, fantastic Media coverage (3 minutes report at evening TV News on National Swiss TV, partnership with Couleur 3 (national radio), full pages in major Swiss newspapers (20Minutes, 24Heures, etc...), partnership with ROCKHARD France and full report in METALHAMMER Germany)

March 9-10th 2012 we're back for the 2nd edition in Lausanne Switzerland. Some of the highlights of 2012 are:

TWO STAGES - ONE PASS FOR ALL!

LES DOCKS (capacity: 1000 people - big stage) remains the main stage of the festival and is dedicated to the big names - 4 to 5 bands each night - www.lesdocks.ch

BASE BAR (capacity: 250 people) will offer a good Club Stage for presenting exciting new bands in very good conditions - 3 bands each night - www.baseconcept.ch. As the capacity is limited make sure to arrive early for the band you want to see to gain access to this venue.

At the same place we will organize on Saturday 10th March a CONTEMPORARY DANCE PERFORMANCE - it is a special creation of artists living in Lausanne based on the ambient industrial music of DECOMPOSITION

BASE BAR will also be the place for INFERNO CAFE & METAL MARKET! This will be the place for hanging out. Directly connected to the Metal Market, the cafe will serve 2 special menus available at anytime: INFERNO OSLO (NORWEGIAN Courses), INFERNO SWITZERLAND (Fondue + jerked meat from the Swiss mountains), Norwegian Beers and Swiss Wines.

one remarkable link between Norway and Switzerland is the beauty of the country. Coming to INFERNO should also be a great occasion to discover both countries, traditions and beautiful landscapes made of lakes and wild mountains ! We will offer a special price for our festival guests in the main hotel of the festival where both audience and artists are staying in both Switzerland & Norway. Advises will be also given to our Festival travellers for good tips, tours, food in and around Lausanne. We will also organize a very special tour leading the outstanding GIGER Museum in the famous area of La GRUYERE.

A Norwegian Menu, a Swiss Menu but also Norwegian beers and Swiss wines will be served at the festival.
