ITP V.017 TECH: FACEBOOK SENDS PRESS RELEASE CHANGING DISCRIMINATORY ADVERTISING POLICIES

ITP V.017 TECH:  Social networking giants FACEBOOK have sent a press release stating they have CHANGED the servers discriminatory advertising policies.

FACEBOOK required potential advertisers to name a racial (and other) preference, there fore excluding users via race, an illegal policy via EOE and EOH federal law.

FROM ITP V.016:

All last year, social networking site FACEBOOK is under fire regarding various complaints from censorship, fake news stories, inaccurate spam bots and recently FACEBOOK has been cited as a defendant in a lawsuit (still pending) regarding HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT ADVERTISING RACIAL BIAS.

 ITP V.017 EDITORS NOTE:
I hope the plaintiffs (HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT RACIAL BIAS LAWSUIT VS. FACEBOOK) win the lawsuit. I wouldn't be surprised if this pending lawsuit becomes class action for all whom put $ into FACEBOOK.

Here in the U.S.A., the Civil Rights Act of 1964 ( FEDERAL LAW updated recently) prohibits housing and employment discrimination based upon race, gender, national origin, religion, political affiliation and sexual orientation.
ITP does still post ITP V.017 on FACEBOOK, although ITP's author will not pay to play (sponsored posts nor advertising). ITP and other journalists are hoping some FACEBOOK polices will change to accommodate journalists posting vs.FB selective algorithm vs.  time zone differentials.

ALSO. FACEBOOK has come under fire from media, bloggers and journalists for censorship, manipulating sponsored posts as a pay to play option vs. TOS violations for  multiple posts to break time zone differentials. This joke of a FACEBOOK program does not resolve conflicts of censorship with journalists and bloggers with said server whom have been complained about and sued multiple times.

Hails to the plaintiffs of this lawsuit vs FACEBOOK as the tech giant just lost another $500 million lawsuit earlier this month.
