 CANNIBAL CORPSE are a legendary death metal band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1988. 

After  CANNIBAL CORPSE moved to Florida the band joined a highly influential death metal scene featuring legendary bands DEATH, DEICIDE, OBITUARY, MASSACRE and more.  

 Since the 90's, CANNIBAL CORPSE have released an amazing catalog of genre defining death metal.all on METAL BLADE RECORDS.

in 2018,  CANNIBAL CORPSE guitarist PAT O'BRIEN was arrested for burglary and assault with a deadly weapon in Florida. 

Enter Florida producer and HATE ETERNAL guitarist ERIC RUTAN who replaced CANNIBAL CORPSE guitarist PAT O'BRIEN in 2020 and also produced the bands new offering. 

CANNIBAL CORPSE'S "VIOLENCE UNIMAGINED" kicks off with "MURDEROUS RAMPAGE" , a rager of a track with a thrash beat and definitive, punk influenced riff. At 1:08,  "MURDEROUS RAMPAGE" morphs into some vicious death metal and blistering solos. 

 CANNIBAL CORPSE'S : "NECROGENIC RESURRECTION" invokes old school CANNIBAL CORPSE featuring a defining technical riff, a sick hardcore break down and soaring solo.

CANNIBAL CORPSE'S "INHUMANE HARVEST" features a rehashed riff from the bands classic release "THE BLEEDING". However, the track slays as vocalist CORPSEGRINDER growls "Everything must go!" as the band segue brutal, progressive riffing with excellent solos. 

CANNIBAL CORPSE'S "CONDEMNATION CONTAGION" invokes a sludgy feel for starters before seguing into brutal thrash. Two minutes into "CONDEMNATION CONTAGION", CANNIBAL CORPSE segue into some brutal old school death metal, enough to summon the demons.

CANNIBAL CORPSE'S "SURROUND, KILL, DEVOUR" features some proggy riffing  consolidated with some awesome thrash and roll.

At 2:30, "SURROUND, KILL, DEVOUR" morphs into some technical progressive metal, with a killer and definitive riff. . 

 CANNIBAL CORPSE'S "RITUAL ANNIHILATION" is a blistering rager, complete with blast beats. At 1:42, "RITUAL ANNIHILATION" plays on dynamics by slowing down the pace to melodic rhythm guitar riffs before chugging along into the distance.  

  CANNIBAL CORPSE'S "FOLLOW THE BLOOD" kicks off with a definitive thrash riff before blasting off into some sick technical death metal and awesome breakdowns. At 3;44,   CANNIBAL CORPSE'S "FOLLOW THE BLOOD" invokes a sick riff/ breakdown that is sure to get a pit stomping. 

  CANNIBAL CORPSE'S "BOUND AND BURNED" features bloody thirty rolling riffs with blastbeats, great segues and blistering solos. 

CANNIBAL CORPSE'S  "SLOWLY SAWN" is an old school anthem, a soundtrack to torture and murder featuring some proggy, technical riffing. 

CANNIBAL CORPSE'S  'OVERTORTURE" is one the fastest tracks on the release featuring some punk influenced death/  thrash.   

  CANNIBAL CORPSE'S: "VIOLENCE UNIMAGINED" closes with "CEREMENTS OF THE FLAYED" as CORPSEGRINDER growls "Why did I die this way?" as the band thrashes along speeding up the pace with with epic solos  and technical riffs. 

The CANNIBAL CORPSE and HATE ETERNAL (ERIC RUTAN) collaboration has paid off well. 

ERIK RUTAN has dome a great job beefing up CANNIBAL CORPSE'S production, a welcome addiction from the flat production of overrated engineer SCOTT BURNS.  

Guitarist ERIK RUTAN has offered a wide range of technical and progressive riffs to  CANNIBAL CORPSE'S arsenal. RUTAN'S ideas meld well with CANNIBAL CORPSE's free flowing brutality. 

Overall, the PMRC''S (Parental Music Resource Center-those idiots that put parental guidance stickers on music releases) filthiest band have aged gracefully over the years. 

Dare I say it, CANNIBAL CORPSE have matured a bit from mindless horror lyrics to the pandemic commentary of  "CONDEMNATION CONTAGION", written about a germ a phobe pissed about mandatory quarantine. 

Over all, CANNIBAL CORPSE have continued the bands enduring legacy of brutality and pure lyrical horror and rage.

  CANNIBAL CORPSE: "VIOLENCE UNIMAGINED" is a reflection of societies darkest nightmares, as you know it's true and you should be horrified. 

  CANNIBAL CORPSE are moire than just controversial, they are reliable legends of death metal and have lived up the the hype with over the 30 years of high quality releases.

. CANNIBAL CORPSE: "VIOLENCE UNIMAGINED" is a monument to death metal brutality and societies darkest fears. 

 CANNIBAL CORPSE: "VIOLENCE UNIMAGINED" should provoke some violent mosh pits as there is a  reason why CANNIBAL CORPSE is the genres best selling band. .
