ROCK STAR ENERGY UPROAR FEST: MOVES 9/4/2011 INDOORS TO GULF COAST COLISEUM

Promoters for the 2011 ROCK STAR ENERGY UPROAR FEST have announced that in retrospect of the recent stage collapses during the summer 2011 outdoor music festival season, the 9/4/2011 date of the festival has been moved its main stage indoors to GULF COAST COLISEUM in Biloxi, Mississippi.

"WCPR and local officials have announced changes to the CPR Fest/Uproar tour. Because of last week's collapse of a large outdoor stage in Indiana, a decision has been made to move the 'main-stage' portion of the concert indoors at the Coast Coliseum. According to officials, 'Safety is our number one concern and until an investigation is complete into the cause of the Indiana tragedy we didn't feel comfortable building what would have been the largest stage ever constructed in Biloxi." The second stage, a much smaller and easily anchored venue will still be outside. So, it'll be the best of both worlds! Gates will open at 1:30 p.m. on September 4th with the outdoor stage featuring SEVENDUST. After an entire afternoon outdoors, everyone will move inside the Coliseum for the conclusion featuring AVENGED SEVENFOLD, THREE DAYS GRACE, SEETHER, and BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE. Officials also say there will be an added benefit of moving indoors; 'Being indoors allows us to add more pyrotechnics and production value to the show. Things that weren't allowed by regulations outside. Also, we like to emphasize that one ticket will get you into both the outside and inside portion of the show.'"
