MOTORHEAD: SUPER MARIO CHARACTER NAMED AFTER LEMMY KILMISTER

KOTAKU.COM reports, the SUPER MARIO (video game) character LEMMY KOOPA was inspired and named after LEMMY KILMISTER, bassist/vocalist of UK metal legends MOTORHEAD.
LEMMY KILMISTER himself enjoyed video games and arcades as a hobby.

UK based heavy metal legends MOTORHEAD confirmed bassist/vocalist LEMMY KILMISTER (IAN FRASER) passed away 12/28/2015 to cancer at 70.

MOTORHEAD's released "BAD MAGIC", 8/28/2015 via UDR MUSIC.
