FROM SALIM LAMOUCHI and HIS ENEMIES (1/11/2014 via FACEBOOK):
Due to personal reasons I have decided to cancel my participation at HELL OVER Hammaburg Festival and with Ruins of Beverast and Saturnalia Temple (and some other good names) in Brussels. Roadburn's Afterburner on the 13th of April will be my last concert for the time being. I will completely dedicate my time and energy into the producing and recording of new music.

FROM SOLSTAFIR:
We've just heard the sad news that Selim Lemouchi of The Devil's Blood/ Selim Lemouchi & His Enemies has left this plane of existence. We didn't know Selim very well but our paths did pass a few times and we shared a few laughs and some good times, even though he had a very strange humor
This riff will always remind us of a fun time in Bergen, those who were there might remember why.
Farwell Selim!
FROM IDES OF GEMINI:
Selim was an incredibly talented musician & well-spoken individual. We did not know him well, but we had the pleasure of talking with him and playing with The Devil’s Blood on the Los Angeles date of the first Decibel Magazine tour. He has left this world too soon. R.I.P.
FROM DECIBEL MAGAZINE:
The Devil's Blood opened our first Decibel Magazine tour. Selim Lemouchi will be missed.
FROM IN SOLITUDE:
Our brother is not gone. Our brother never rests in peace. Our brother's plan, and his execution of it, will outlive the very notion of our steps in time. And as our brother's steps are restored to the ground that once waited for him; his destruction lasts forever. For our brother resided and forever resides in the wounds of the world and drank and forever drinks from the shadows that fell and forever falls from them, in the hearts of all living things. And this is where we'll find our brother. In the mirrors of things. Where he recognized his reflection and shall forever remind us of ours. I know brother, that our lesson shall not be solved in this world.
We love you forever, Selim. Let us end it here like you always would end it with your brothers and sisters; Death is the crown of all
/Pelle, on behalf of In Solitude
