MACHINE HEAD: ADAM DUCE LAWSUIT SETTLEMENT, ALL CLAIMS DROPPED

Bay Area, California thrash metal warriors MACHINE HEAD have announced the lawsuit filed by former bassist ADAM DUCE has been settled as both parties have DROPPED all claims.

According to COURTNEWS.COM, former MACHINEHEAD bassist ADAM DUCE brought a lawsuit against his ex band for "Damages and punitive damages for trademark infringement, breach of fiduciary duty, breack of partnership agreement, intentional and unintentional interference and prospect economic relations, negligence, defamation and unfair competition.
ADAM DUCE wants the band enjoined from using the MACHINE HEAD marks.

MACHINE HEAD have unleashed a production blog as the band is currently recording their NUCLEAR BLAST debut to be unleashed soon.

MACHINE HEAD released a new 10 inch single "Killer and Kings",4/19/2014 via NUCLEAR BLAST on RECORD STORE DAY.

MACHINE HEAD have officially inked with NUCLEAR BLAST ENTERTAINMENT as the band continues work on a new release.

MACHINE HEAD have announced new bassist JARED MACEACHERN as he replaces ADAM DUCE whom left the band late last year.

MACHINE HEAD unleashed "On to The Locust" 9/23/2011 via ROADRUNNER RECORDS.

FROM MACHINE HEAD:

A $1.8 million dollar litigation suit filed against heavy metal recording artist Machine Head, manager Joseph Huston, record label Nuclear Blast, and current-bassist Jared MacEachern by former-Machine Head bassist Adam Duce was settled yesterday in San Francisco, CA. The terms of the deal will remain confidential but both sides were able to reach a satisfactory agreement.

All claims in the dispute have been dropped against all parties named including but not limited to the $800,000 dollar suit against the band for breach of fiduciary duty and interference with prospective economic advantage, as well as the bizarre $1,000,000 dollar defamation suit against singer / guitarist Robb Flynn regarding a blog the guitarist posted.

It was mediated by Gail Migdal Title, with the litigation team for Machine Head handled by Kari Keidser, Dawn Coulson and Randall Rich of Epps &Coulson, along with long-time Machine Head entertainment lawyer Scott Harrington.

Machine Head will hit the road in the U.S. July 8th with Anti Mortem on the Killers & Kings tour, and will release their as-yet untitled 8th album (their first with new-bassist Jared MacEachern) in November.
