The METALLICA track "MASTER OF PUPPETS"  is featured in the NETFLIX series "STRANGER THINGS" and recently (in 2022) peaked in the BILLBOARD top 100.

Denmark based thrash metal warriors ARTILLERY have announced guitarist KRAEN MEIR has left the band and new vocalist MARTIN STEENE joins the group.

 

 ARTILLERY have announced new drummer KJELSTRUP HANSEN.

Hi all.
Well line-up changes happen, especially if you’re a 41-year-old band.
Like a marriage, people part, and so does bandmembers. Kræn Meier and Artillery recently parted ways. We wish Kræn all the best, he will without a doubt make his mark in Danish metal, as he did in Artillery. News on a new guitar player will be posted soon……Be patient.
So, on the vocal front, what’s new.
New singer is a long-time friend of the band, Martin Steene.
About Martin. Martin has been a big part of the Danish metal scene, for many years.
He made his recording debut with the band Iron Fire in 2000.
He has released 9 albums+ 1 compilation/Best of, with Iron Fire.
He was a touring member of the band Saturnus for two years as rhythm guitarist.
Martin also played in a legendary Danish band called Evil, a speed metal band. In 2023 Evil released an album called Book of Evil. From 2003-2005 Martin was in a band called Force of Evil. The band members were Michael Denner, Hank Shermann, Hal Patino and Bjarne Holm….Whoa, wait a minute, that’s almost a full Mercyful Fate and King Diamond line-up.
Martins vocal range is amazing, ranging from classic metal, melodic metal and thrash metal.
So, Martin is ready to turn out for Artillery in 2024. Tour coming up, shows already booked, more to come, and were happy that Martin will join Artillery. There will be Metal.

DEIMLER: POST NEW RELEASE "IMMORTALIZED"


 Spanish death metal warriors DEIMLER have posted the bands anticipated new release "IMMORTALIZED", unleashed 11/25/2023 via AWAKENING RECORDS.

DEIMLER Death Metal was originally created in 1998 and ceased activity in 2001 without any albums or professional recordings. Until 2018, Pako Deimler revived DEIMLER from the ashes with a sound based on the classic Finnish and Swedish death metal of the early 90s. Their acclaimed debut EP "Zero One" was released in 2020 via Awakening Records, and a year later DEIMLER signed to the mighty label XTREEM MUSIC and released their first full-length album "A Thousand Suns".
Now, DEIMLER returns with its highly anticipated second full-length album, IMMORTALIZED, featuring 10 tracks in the purest DEIMLER style, plus three intro-environmental tracks. The new album was created between October 2021 and June 2022 and is based on the concept of "Alien the 8th Passenger", focusing on the figure of its protagonist Ellen Ripley, and its antagonist the Xenomorph. Musically, it's still the same old-school death metal that DEIMLER is so passionate about, but the more intricate and rotten new material won't leave you indifferent!

ITP V.023 ONLY ONE PER COFFIN: R.I.P KEVIN ("GEORDIE") WALKER (GUITARIST KILLING JOKE)


 KEVIN ("GEORDIE") WALKER , guitarist for UK post punk legends KILLING JOKE died 11/26/2023 after complications from a stroke at 64.

It is with extreme sadness we confirm that at 6:30am on 26th November 2023 in Prague, Killing Joke's legendary guitarist Kevin “Geordie” Walker passed away after suffering a stroke, he was surrounded by family. We are devastated. Rest In Peace brother.
